Who is my instructor?
Courtney Vaughan

Instructor, Evans High School

BIO
Courtney Vaughan is happily employed as an instructor at Evans High School, where she teaches Video Production and Graphic Design classes. She has been making art and films as long as she can remember and loves explaining to unsuspecting strangers how impactful the "Ten Thousand Hours" concept from Malcolm Gladwell's book Outliers: The Story of Success has proven to be in her life.

Mrs. Vaughan owns a production company and has produced commercial content worldwide for Lysol, Pampers, Lenovo, IBM and The House of Flynn. Her work has been featured in Parents Magazine, Golf Week, Charleston Visitors Guide, and The Knot: Carolinas. She has worked on a team to publish several eBooks for children's literature and has helped developed many 'read-a-long' apps for iphone and android in several different languages. Two of these ebooks gained critical acclaim and have been featured on national television broadcasts such as Chelsea Lately and TVGuide.com. Mrs. Vaughan has created several animated short films (stop motion, 2d, and 3d animation) and has served on film crews which went on to win film festivals worldwide.

Mrs. Vaughan's favorite thing to do is to travel all over the world, creating films in every new place she visits. She is married to her high school sweetheart and has two cats, Shipley and Wednesday.
